Ok so a month or two I posted a thread here about this girl from my school. In a nutshell in case you didn't see it, I think I've been starting to have feelings for her (idk if I have a crush on her but I definitely find her attractive), and one time I was at her house and she dared me to say who I found attractive. I told her that I found her attractive, and she was pleasantly surprised.

That was back in June. We kinda stopped talking over the summer because I was super busy, but we're chatting again now that school's back in session, and I still have no clue if she's flirting with me or not. But today I had this interesting text conversation with her that really left me scratching my head. Here it is:

Her (shortly after school got out): "Hiii It's Erin. Wanna go with me to this weird thing with me tonight?"

Me (a few hours later): "Sorry i just saw this. What was it?"

Her: "Haha you can still come if you want"
"I'm leaving now from work."

At that point I just gave some BS excuse like my dad said no or something. Then I said "maybe tomorrow?" and she said "Haha okie"

I'm a bit freaked out tbh. I still have no clue what this weird thing is. Of course, me being a guy with hormones and shit, I thought it might've been referring to something sexual, but that seems totally out of context of her (aka I don't think she would want to hook up with me). So I'm just wondering what you guys think it could be/mean, and what should I say?

Well it could be a range of things from a concert to a hangout at the park, if I was you i'd try as much as possible to get a hint on what that thing is exactly, if she insists on not letting you know, then just go with her. I mean what's the worst that can happen? If you find her attractive then that has the potential to be something more in the future. So yea, act on it and go with her.

Honestly, I doubt it's sexual because I doubt a girl that shows any interest in you would refer to that as a weird thing. :lol:

I wouldn't worry about what you guys are going to be doing. If she's not telling you what, it means it's probably a surprise and it's her attempt to be spontaneous and mysterious. I would just go with things and I'm totally sure you'll have a blast.

You guys are probably right. Knowing her, it really wouldn't make sense for it to be something sexual. I'm just scared that I'll make a fool of myself but oh well .-.

but nevertheless treat it as a normal date or sth! it's someone who you find attractive and i guess you would like to hang out with her too
