In the teen sexuality forum I think that there should be a thread entitled "***Ask ALL 'Am I Gay?' Questions HERE***"

I think it's a better idea then all the threads that come out the same way in saying that the peson isn't gay and possible a bi-sexual.

That defeats one of the purposes of the Teen Sexuality forum.

I don't agree. I think when people ask that question they want personal response, they don't want their question put in with everyone elses where the standard repetitive answer will always come out.

Asking that question and trying to figure out your sexuality is a very hard thing and I think if people want a seperate thread, then why not.

hmmm.....well I guess you are right there. I mean an entire thread devoted to it wouldn't make much sense.

I mean the answer is repetitive, and then it leaves one obvious option. Ok I think we got this settled out.

I think we can lock this thread now

I'm 73% sure that we used to have one of those stickies in the puberty forum, a long time ago. But it wasnt used enough because people wanted to make their own threads.

No we don't need to do that.

Well, I think the idea of posting a thread similar to a thread I made that got nearly no traffic and died right away (and there might already be a thread like this, actually, I think there is a thread like this [hopefully its stickied]), is a guide for sexuality, as this could help people who are having minor problems. But people who are really unsure of whether they are gay, bi, straight, etc., need their own personal thread. They need to be able to discuss how they feel, and though comparing how they feel to how someone else feels isn't such a bad idea, its just better if they have their own personal thread where people will solely help them, not help a bunch of different people who could feel all sorts of things and still be of the same sexuality. It could just get confusing and in the end almost nobody would be helped.

First off, I know I'm not a mod.. but.. posts like the one above me don't really help in a section like this (unless of course we're having a vote) If you want them to do it, you need to give a good reason why, you can't just say "do it" that isn't contributing much to this discussion. If you think that it should be done, explain why [even if your explanation is only a couple of words, its better than just saying do it]. I'm not saying this to sound like a mod, because if I was, I would just get yelled at, I'm saying this because posts like that bug me, mainly because I used to make posts like that, and some of my past experiences on here were not "incredible" so to speak.. But yeah.. I digress..

Yeah we did. A new member just went ahead and posted a thread titled "$$$ Post all am i gay questions here$$$"

But Val locked it because no one really needed it

Oh ok. I just remembered a member (I think it was Axellance) that posted it and of course the locking and so on and so forth

The whole reason Teen Sexuality was created was because there were a ton of "Am I gay" questions in P101. So to take that away from the actual forum created for that purpose is...not smart...lol

i think they need a personal touch, they are going through a tough, searching time, they need personal advice
