Hello!
I'm here to ask an uncomfortable question (for the involved).
What does worth 25-30USD in a simple pair of boxer-briefs?
IDK really. I understand expensive shoes, jeans, etc, but underwear is underwear for me.

Underwear is underwear, the only case I've ever deemed necessary to make it expensive is when buying special underwear for people allergic to ellastane and any other fabrics used in their making...

I think it's just more...comfortable? Idk. I'd never pay full price for CK underwear - they sell them at Marshalls for like 10 dollars.

I guess you can show the band above when you sag or something... Maybe? Not really sure.
Generics for my whole life, so I might have missed out?

I don't get it either. First off those thick-ass bands are ugly. Second off I'm wasting 30 dollars in something I'll use more.
In all seriousness now, I don't feel it's necessary, you could buy better clothes or shoes with that, you know, they're more visible

Typically, the high quality ones last longer but I'd prefer having fun with different colors and style so I purchase the more affordable brands. It's really up to you.

I feel the same way, if I'm gonna spend 20-30 dollars on something, it'd be a nice pair of khakis, some sneakers or a plaid shirt, but underwear? I can get those at 10 for 6.

Well, everyone has made a case for generic underwear so I will make a case for branded underwear, because I own a lot of pairs of designer underwear.
In my opinion, branded underwear is way more comfortable and this is important as underwear is something (unlike shoes or a jumper), which you wear all day and sometimes through the night. Underwear probably is the most worn piece of clothing if you think of it. Designer is generally softer, more comfortable and offers more support. I find branded just a nicer wearing experience. I think this is important because, although no one will really see your undies, how comfortable you are down there can influence your mood and how you carry yourself.
Secondly, I prefer the styles and colours of branded underwear to generic stuff. I particularly like Bjorn Borg's patterns. It's just nicer to look at and makes me feel good in them.
Thirdly, your underwear protects and supports your genitals, which are probably kind of important. :P I don't like the idea of something cheap protecting mine. :P I find the good brands offer better support.
Finally, designer underwear is better quality and often lasts way longer than cheaper stuff. You get what you pay for in the long run.
I understand that it seems expensive but just give one pair a try; you might like them. Also, you'd be wise to wait for a sale when you can get branded stuff for cheaper. And do some research, some brands are better value than others and others feel nicer than other too. I like CK, Hollister and Bjorn Borg myself.
Good luck. :)

^^ i agree. hanes and jockey underwear are ok, don't like FTL at all.
love CK briefs, they are softer and much more comfortable, fit better too i think. even have a pair of 2xist briefs. strange but i'm really fussy about my undies, other clothes not so much.

I rarely buy branded underwear, although I do occasionally treat myself to pringle boxerbriefs.
