Hi!

I am currently designing this website for people at school and I was wondering what people want to do on a computer during lessons. I'm 13 but I can't really think. I usually just check my emails. I have got the games part sorted out.

Anyone got any ideas?

Is this some portal or something? Would they be accessing your website as a home page? Is there some sort of filter that doesn't allow normal internet access?

I guess you could add news.

If you can find a way to get around your school's filter, then your peers will hail you as a saint.

Take YouTube, for example. Most schools restrict access to it, and it's too much work to keep stealing passwords from teachers(at least on ours the teachers have their own username and password to unblock sites). If you can put together some kind of proxy, they'll love you.

Of course, it's only a matter of time before your website gets blocked, and they'll probably have a stern word with you.

I just don't quite get what kind of website you're making? If it's something that will bypass the firewall, that wouldn't be too helpful because of proxys.

If you add http:\\ in front of the URL at my school, you can bypass the filter.

Basically the site will just have stuff to do during lessons while you are using the computer. We currently have a games pge which bypasses the school block we are just looking for others things to add

Add things like news, YouTube, social networking, etc. Basically things that students want to access that would be blocked

Edit:
Also, it might work, but try using https://www.(site name). That works for some sites like YouTube at my school, but we dont have flash to use it :(
