Hey!
I am 13 and most of you are probably going to say something like "you're too young anyway so don't worry". Well anyway my friends have all been drunk at one point and it's usually at a party and i am the only one out of my friend group who hasn't been drunk, it is making me feel like the odd one out and i really don't like it! Don't get me wrong i have had my fair share of alchol... on special occasions, with family and only a small amount. I would never become an alcholic because my parents wouldn't allow it. But anyway back to the point i really want to experience what it's like being drunk and not be the odd one out when me and my mates are talking about being drunk

Has this ever happened to anyone else? When did you first get drunk? What age?

Thanks in advance :)

First time I got drunk was at the start of this year, I'm 15 now. Honestly, if you want to do it then just do it. See next when your friends will be drinking or going to a party and ask to be apart of it etc.

Being drunk is seriously not all it's hyped up to be, it's a lot better to drink in moderation. So your friends are getting drunk, if they jumped off a bridge does that mean you have to, too? No because that'd be ridiculous. Just let whatever happens, happens with stuff like because if you spend your life worrying about all these stupid small things you'll never get anywhere. I first got drunk when I was, like 15 or so and it was my the worst experience of my life and I vowed from that day forward never to get that drunk again. After awhile, alcohol just becomes such a small part of being a human. Realistically, even though you said not to say it, you really are too young to be drinking and getting drunk because your body cannot handle all the toxins properly.

Good, all of your friends are getting drunk and you're not. I don't see a problem with that at all, why do you? The only reason you're influenced so greatly to experience being drunk is because your friends are doing it. It's nothing great, and it won't get you far, especially at your age. You shouldn't be drinking- even if your friends are doing it. Drinking at 13 years old can cause some serious developmental problems. [* (http://pubs.niaaa.nih.gov/publications/arh284/205-212.htm)] [* (http://www.education.vic.gov.au/Documents/school/teachers/health/factsheet12011.pdf)]

If your friends start distancing themselves from you because you're not drinking it just shows they weren't very good friends to begin with. It's the bitter truth. Wait until you're older to start drinking. Wait until you're able to make your own conscious decision on whether or not you want to drink. Don't leave such important decisions to anyone other than yourself (your friends).
