Yes, it's probably from her period, having one while your sleeping is like boys getting a boner while sleeping, so she shouldn't worry. Tell her to wear a tampon or something, and if that doesn't work which it should tell her to see a doctor.

if it is her period its probably best to tell her to talk to her mum or an older sister or some other older female so she can get some support and learn more about tampons, pads, etc and how to use them.
