Up until this year cramps haven't really been an issue, but now for about the first two days in it feels like I've been stabbed( ok maybe not that bad) so I was wondering, if any of you get cramps, what do you use? Midol? Ibuprofen? Cause tea can only do so much.

Ibuprofen works for me but luckily for me I don't get them as bad as you.
Hope you find something that works.

Midol has always worked well for me.
Make sure you're drinking lots of water, potassium helps with cramping, and getting some light exercise is also good.

I get extremely bad cramps. I take 3 ibuprofen (I think I may have started to develop an immunity to them..), drink whatever the tea is called that's specifically for periods, and put a hot water bottle on my belly. Then the best thing to do is ignore them. Watch a movie, eat something. They suck in the moment, but the first day or two when they're the worst will be over soon enough.

I usually take 1 paracetamol and 1 ibuprofen together instead of just one singularly due to them both having a different compound. One works on the pain and the other on the the actual period/blood. I find that exercise is the way to go, also.

Omg are you kidding me!?The pain got so horrendous between ages 14 to 17 I was practically bed-ridden for the first three days and nothing helped except sitting in the bath filled with hot water but the water can only stay steaming for so long.Nowadays I exercise more and start taking pynstop two days before.I still get cramps and diarrhoea and constipation but at least now I can go to school despite the fact that the pills make me so drowsy I can't concentrate anyway.Good luck!

Midol but warning if it feels like a stabing or twisting pain and its unusual, youre doubled over in pain or it gets worse you need to get checked for ovarioan torsion or a cyst which buth can require emergency surgery if not caught early enough
Also rty bananas and club soda it has lots of potassium ajd helps calm the stomach which can get agitated plus it also works great for a hangover

I use ibuprofen. Exercising regularly does help though, now that I don't do it that often the cramps are slightly worse.
