I would not say that what happened to you is common, but it is not weird either. Much like how folks can sleep walk and do all sorts of things unconsciously in their sleep I am sure you probably were jacking off without knowing it while you were sleeping. You're clearly a shooter, and you probably are just one of those guys who naturally make a lot of cum. I would not worry much about this since it is not like there's anything wrong here.

My only suggestion is that if your wet dreams are as messy as the one you had described, then definitely try to jack off before going to bed so that you don't make a mess. It might not be a bad ideal to clean off your wall with a bleach solution so that your bedroom won't smell like a barn. If you have regular wet dreams and they are messy, then it also probably would not be a bad idea to get one of those water resistant mattress pads so that your cum won't seep into your mattress and make it smell.
