View Full Version : Am I just kidding myself?

Hey guys, so anyway I have a dilemma. Last year I came to the conclusion that I was bi-sexual, and everything was fine and happy, but to be honest I feel like I have been lying to myself a bit.... I have not been sexually attracted to ANY women in over 3 months at least, I only ever wank over thoughts of guys and find it difficult to ejaculate over thought of a woman. When I was in relationships with girls I did enjoy kissing, and touching and got aroused by sexual things, but if I see a gorgeous woman walking down the road I will think ''wow, she is stunning'' but sexually it doesn't do anything for me.... for months now I have kept saying ''yes, I am bi-sexual'' but is that only a sub-conscious cover? Always in the back of my mind I think ''am I just lying to myself? Hiding from the truth'' and to be honest it's tearing me up inside, it's like a constant nagging that wont subside, I think I am gay, but the thought of that scares me.... is being bi-sexual just another stepping stone to gay that makes the transition easier? I really need help guys, big time!

To be honest, you don't have to be gay or bisexual, you're simply you. Not everyone can fit into those definitions of attraction, and you don't have to. If you like guys/see yourself in a relationship with one, then go do that. If you see the same in women, go for it. If you see it in both, do whatever you think is the most fulfilling, or fits you the best. There's no reason to worry as to whether you're "all" gay or only bisexual - in the scheme of things it doesn't matter.
Figuring all this out takes time too. So if you think you're only going to date or be in relationships with guys now, keep that thought in mind, but don't let it control you, and the same goes for being bisexual. You don't have to be one or the other now, or really ever if you don't want to be. Just identify with what you're most comfortable with. :)

Truly, you have to wait and see. Anyone can find anyone gorgeous/attractive. It's like a straight guy saying another is attractive. That doesn't mean he wants to be in a relationship with another guy. Same with a gay guy finding a girl attractive. Because someone has attractive looks doesn't mean that you want that person, it simply means they meet what society thinks is attractive at the time.
On the other hand however, this could mean that you find desires or wants to be with a person of the opposite sex and another person of the same sex at the same time. That is what would be defined as bisexual. It's up to you what you do with this information, and if any offends you or someone reading this, please, forgive me I didn't mean it to be.
