Is there a difference between "STRAIGHT BUT CURIOUS" and "BISEXUAL"?

Please explain.

Bisexual is someone who exhibits strong sexual attraction to both sexes, while straight but curious is basically mostly straight leaning bisexual.

My definition of "straight but curious" or "bi-curious" would be someone who has feelings of curiosity towards the same sex, and would like to experiment to see if in fact they would enjoy it, and to find out whether or not it feels right. When a person is curious, it's like they're unsure of their true sexuality, whereas a bisexaul already knows they're into both genders.

Bi curious is exactly what the name implies - you're curious about what it would be like to experiment with people of the opposite gender, but you don't necessarily fully know your sexuality. But let's say you experiment with a dude and you're like "yeah, I like doing that kind of stuff". Then it is possible that you'll want to start going as bisexual, or whatnot.

In other words, I see "bicurious" as a label that states you *might* like both genders, whereas bisexual is a true label that states you *do* find yourself attracted (either equally or lopsided) to both genders.

This is exactly how I see it too. You can't still be curious when you know what its like and know if you like it or not.
