Just bring up something funny to talk and laugh about,
Like something in your past or something that you heard.
Perhaps she'll have a similar story to share.
Or on another note...
I find this one a good ice breaker (it's kind of a game),
You get to ask the person a question and they have to answer 100% honestly (this is of course going off of the honors system).
They can't ask you something that you've already asked them as well, they have to come up with their own question.
Last but not least,
Find some interest or view of an issue that you both have in common,
This leads into deeper subjects from my experience because it always comes back into relating things into our own lives.
Just a few suddestions that work for me = )

if you are in a group play a little game i call ''5 fingers'' basically. you take it in turns and say something you have never done, for example, and a clean one ''i have never kissed a boy'' and the people that have put a finger down. the first one to put all 5 fingers down has to do a dare. its fun and you each find out what you have done but word of warning dont do it with people that cant keep their mouths shut or people you dont exactly trust lol

It should just come naturally. If it doesn't you're not right for each other.
