No it doesn't need to be locked. If you have nothing constructive to add to the original topic please do not post. There's no need to lock threads that aren't causing any harm.

I didn't state is was causing any harm, I just was wondering what the point of two threads on the same topic was. Unless the OP intended for this thread to talk about something else. And I DO LIKE the idea of putting a books section in the 4th wall, rather than the idea brought up in Chay's thread of making it part of the creative writing section.

I redirected the OP to the existing thread so its problem solved. I left the thread open in case he might want to follow up. Discussion on why it should or shouldn't be locked is over.
