I am 15.
If you can answer some that'd be great...
I don't want to but when I'm on my period should I tell my mum like the day it comes on...?
I really want to wear tampons-do I need to ask?
Do pads and tampons have an expiry date on my Always ones it said EXP Aug 2012 does it make the tampons even more unsafe?
If i wear a tampon for an hour will that be okay??
How long after your first period did you get your second cos it's been a few months now...

If you want to, be my guest, but unless you need help with something I don't think you're obligated to by any means.

Same deal. Unless you need help, I don't think you should feel obligated to ask.

Not sure on this one, apologies

Yes. I think it starts becoming a concern around 6-8 hours, but I could be wrong. I don't use tampons unless I need to.

A few months for me, too. I didn't start getting it monthly for a long time.

Hi :)
You don't need to tell your mom when you have your period, but she may notice (as simple as pads in the bathroom trash, or changes in your mood, etc.) My mom usually knows because I put a towel in my bed at night to make extra sure I don't make a mess. You shouldn't need to ask if you can use a tampon, but lots of moms are different, I'd talk to her in terms of advice etc.
I think they have an expiration date- most things do. But I just checked my pads (I don't use tampons) and I can't see any.
As for regularity, I think it wasn't until a year or so after my first period that I had them every month, before that, it was every two or three months. It depends on the girl.

You can tell your mum if you wish but no real need to.

No need to ask anyone unless you want to borrow someone elses tampons, just go out to the store and buy tampons. Your body your choice.

Tampons do expire eventually but not quickly. Basically it would not be a good idea to use tampons that have beern lying around for over a year particularly in warm places and it can sometimes cause bacteria to grow on them. So always store pads and tampons in a cool and dry place and try and use them timeously.

You can generally wear tampons for up to 6 hours or 8 hours overnight without any problems. If you've had it in for say 10 hours or so time to whip it out!

It can vary from 1 month to 6 months. I think I was 3 months or something.
