For homework, we have to do a political blog on this website called Edmodo, and I asked my classmates their political stance on gay marriage. Like I've said, I live in a progressive county of a conservative state, but considering these are 15, 16 yearmolds, I expect mostly yesses.

Was it a good idea to ask? Am I in danger? And if someone asks me if I'm gay, because I posted that question, what do I do?

In case they ask you whether you're gay or not, just tell them you're interested in politics and stuff and wanted to know about their political stance on the subject, because gay marriage doesn't affect only gay people, it's something that influences the whole society.

Ew, I hated edmodo so much.

But I digress. Honestly, I think that your fellow peers wouldn't be serious about it if they did ask you. If they do ask, though, I'd personally just say "I was just curious"
