Well, in my Honors English class this year, I've been assigned to create a Persuasive Essay over an issue, which will comprise of an explanation of the topic, opposing opinions on the topic, and finally my own opinion on the topic. I'm trying to decide on what to have as my topic. Any ideas from anyone?

I used to focus on the most controversial topics that crossed my mind at the time though whenever I was writing persuasive eassays.
