Why do all the little hairs have a white thing by them?

Is it just the hair follicle or is it ingrown? Idk if it's ingrown or not but When I squeezed one of the bigger bumps pus came out but I see no hair like in a ingrown hair. Help!

I'm not exactly sure what area or type of hair you're talking about but generally if the base of the hair is surrounded by a raised, white mound thing then it means it is infected, which is another word for acne. If the hair is ingrown then I believe the bump would be redish and the hair wouldn't be coming out.
