I just want your opinion on what I should do, I am 16 and uncircumcised, I have really been considering getting circumcised soon. Is there any guys out there who have done it at a late stage like I am thinking of doing? If you have, please give me your experience and if you prefer it to before.

I really don't want to make a big mistake!

i think at 16 ur penis is almost completely developed, i wouldnt do it cuz it might be painful.

Is there a medical problem? I was circumcised as a baby, wish I had the chance to make the decision myself. Out of curiosity, why do you want to be circumcised?

Getting circumcised any older than a small baby carries increased risk. You need to be aware of ALL risks involved. Being older, your recovery time could take anywhere from a few weeks to months, so you should take that into account that you probably won't be able to masturbate/have sex for a little while after the procedure.

As I said, getting circumcised older carries increased risk, including but not limited to impotence (not being able to get hard)

If you aren't doing this for a medical reason, you need to seriously consider why you are getting this done. The surgery is irreversable. Further more, again assuming you aren't doing this for a medical reason, "why fix something that isn't broken".

I will be and I'm 17 nearly 18 because I am becoming a Muslim and for other reasons :) I didn't want to because I know the risk and down side what you lose but owell it will let me commit to islam and make my gf happy and me also doing for health reasons as a result of past injury lol don't ask haha

btw they put you to sleep if your over older than about 12 now I believe you only feel it afterwards if the painkillers don't work 100%

Nothing special , procedure was quick and easy , so , I didnt feel any pain , and by the way , they cut me when I was 14 ... So , there is really no reason to aware of procedure , and dont listen guys that are spreading stories like : " it is not good when you are older " or " why to fix something that is not broken " , believe me , that little procedure changed my whole life for good ... If you listen me , you should do it ...

Yeah, I had it done at 13 and they don't necessarily have you go to sleep. I was awake for mine and they give your penis an injection or two so it goes numb. The shots are scary and sting going in but honestly not that much worse then ones that go in the arm. After that you don't feel much. Recovery isn't fun but I thought it would be worse and they give you pain pills.

Well, after all it's your penis. You choose what YOU want to do. In my opinon DON'T do it. I feel horrible I'm cut and I don't have as much pleasure as uncut guys do. But, what do I know? I was cut as a baby so I don't know what being uncut is like but I wish I was uncut. Well, its your choice and if you choose to do it, good luck! Just remember what others have said though, there's no going back....

I was cut also when a baby and because of that I can`t compare and say that I`ve more or less pleasure. The uncut guys can`t say that neither.
The only one who can have an opinion are guys who got cut after having already sexual experience so they can compare.

Doing it at this age is more painful and more risky, if you're just doing it because why not I would think long and hard about the risks and implications... IF You have a legitimate reason go for it, but still be aware of the risks, pain, etc. Whatever you decide, good luck!

Don't do it. You were left intact and the way you were supposed to be made. It would be extremely painful at an older age. It's always up to you, but if there is no medical reason I wouldn't do it. Especially since your 16 and almost fully developed.

I am uncut, so I may have that bias, but in the end , it's up to you.

Don't do it! I was circumcised as a baby and boy do I wish I hadn't been. The only guy I've ever messed around with was uncut and he seemed to enjoy everything a lot more. There is plenty of scientific evidence that says circumcision decreases sexual pleasure. Sure, it may be a bitch to clean, but I'd say that's worth the extra pleasure.

Not to mention I think uncut dicks are more attractive ;)

I was circumcised as a baby. I hate to say it, but I can only imagine how painful it will be. if you need to do it for medical reasons though or just to do it, then I understand. good luck
