Yepp, it is possible because I usually do it now when I masturbate and don't want to clean up lol. I just get the feeling of orgasming and feel myself ready to cum but then I hold it in and don't cum. I think it may have something to do with the PC muscle :)

Um nope when it starts it keeps going until finished. There's been a couple of times where I was about to cum and then something interrupted it. Kind of like when getting ready to sneeze and then something keeps the sneeze from happening.
