It felt weird to swallow (no pain, just annoying) so I tried coughing up what ever was in there. Nothing. Then I started poking around at the entry to my throat and found this tiny dot. It's definitely attached and kind of hard. Is this something I should have checked?

It may be a sore throat. Take some sore throat medication and wait for a few days. If nothing seems to happen or it becomes worse, or you start to feel pain, you should see a doctor.

I think its related to your lymph nodes, have you been sick recently? Honestly just a parent look at it and make a decision about it, most likely youre okay
