At what age is it legal to have sex in your country?
Whats your idea of the normal age to begin having sex in your country (when do people start having sex IRL)

I'm from Denmark (a little country in the north of Europe. Its a part of Scandinavia)
Here its legal to have sex from the age of 15.
Most girls as I believe it starts before the age of 15. And I think I heard speaking about the government thought about setting the age limit down to 14 because of it.

In the UK, the age of consent is 16 for both heterosexual and homosexual sexual intercourse, where the previous age of consent for homosexual intercourse was 18. The UK has many ideas of the normal age to have sex, but most people I know have had it from the ages of 15-16. It's seen as 'cool' to have sex just before turning the age of consent or on the year of turning 16. I personally think that the age of consent is correctly placed.

I'm from the UK too. This is correct. I remember them lowering the homosexual limit down from 18 to 16 a few years ago. Strangely enough, They raised the age for smoking from 16 to 18!

AoC: It's complicated. It depends on a lot of things, but I think youngest is 14 and oldest is 19. (Romeo and Juliet laws, state laws, etc)
IRL: This is tough to say. I'd say 12-19 is usually when people start. I'd say 15-17 is probably the most common. (However, in my town it's not surprising to lose it in middle school)

I'm from USA, and the age varies by state but for most it's 18. I think it's fine and since it's not really enforced, most people start way earlier, usually at around 14-16

I am originally from Ireland but I moved to America several years ago. In Ireland the age of consent is 17, and in America it varies from state to state. I live in Illinois, where 17 is the age of consent.
I think the average age that people start having sex is somewhere between 14-16. I think it might be a good idea to lower the age to somewhere in this range, but only if certain restrictions are added, i.e. adults over 21 cannot have sex with teens who are freshly "legal"
