Don't really see the people I like anymore

So me and a friend used to go out with these people on the weekends and do what ever. Recently we have started going out with new people and haven't seen the other ones in a while and I miss going out with them because I could relate to them better. We usually just wait until people ask us to come out then we both go together. How should I ask the other ones if they want to come out again?

Yeah just ask the other group if they wanna hang out again, tell them you miss hanging out with them because it was fun :)
