I'm pretty shy and don't like being put in uncomfortable situations, but I need to start shaving. How do i go about asking for a razor and stuf?

Just be straight-forward and explain why you feel you need to shave, they`ll understand.

if you dont wanna ask them to buy the razor and stuff it might be easier for you to ask them for some money to go buy them yourself. that is probably the easiest way i can see that convo going for you

Go to Wal-Mart and buy your own.

Find you dad when he's alone, and just
casually bring it up.
Like... "hey, when you're free I need you
to show me how to shave" If you ask your dad if he can teach you
how to shave, you can learn how to
avoid cutting yourself, and he'll take the
hint that he needs to buy you a razor and
shaving cream.

Steal your father's razors..... he will realise you need them very quickly...

I'd just ask your dad, I mean, he went through all of what you are once.

It would be a lot more awkward for everyone you know to see you start getting all scruffy with the weird random hairs that spring straight out from the peach fuzz.

The first one I got from the big package of them in the bathroom drawer was a single blade, which I didn't know is a LOT easier to cut yourself with. But the next time I got a triple blade one, and it's so much easier to use and you almost never get cuts with them. After that I asked for my own package of them once when we were at Target getting other stuff like toothpaste and shampoo, and it wasn't really very awkward.

Literally just ask they will just say OK. If you still are shy then wait until they offer

I was just at walmart one day and said to my mom I think I need this and she's just got it.

You could just buy a razor at your nearest pharmacy/store, even if you ask your parents for one, they'll understand.

I'm going to repeat what the others said, and the direct approach is the best way to handle this situation. Just tell your parents that you need to start shaving, and they will go along with it. Especially if you are getting a lot of hair on your face and you are looking like a werewolf, then I am sure your parents will help you out. Short of your parents living under a rock, then I am sure they will understand because at some point all boys have to start shaving.

Just ask them for a razor, it's a normal part of life. Your dad had to ask his dad for one at some point and probably felt the same way you do. My parents pretty much just bought me one without me having to ask, but that's my parents lol.

Just ask them for one. If you feel really uncomfortable to ask get it yourself.
I did the second one though :D

I am also very shy and I regret not just asking them straight forward for a razor. After a while, they finally just bought me one :)

Dad,"I need to start shaving. Look at the hair on my face."
