So, my mom died in April, and you know, when people die their things are passed on, usually to their children. Well, my two siblings, and grandparents won't let me take anything. Even though I pointed out several things that I wanted to go to me, and no one else said they wanted it, they just took them anyways. Some of it was even my stuff, and they apparently "Took it to keep for me" I can keep my own stuff. I got nothing, and it pisses me off. I have nothing to remember her by, I barely have anything that was something I can remember from my childhood, but everyone else just took whatever and won't let me have anything. It especially makes me mad that my grandma is doing it. She is taking everything back that was my moms during her childhood. This stuff is supposed to be passed on, not back up. I suppose most kids outlive their parents so it might not be that weird, but she's dictating where everything goes, and not giving me anything. Well, before anyone could get to them, I took the movie collection, because if anything should go to me, it's the movies. I'm the only one who watches our movies, I'm a big movie person, and that's all I even got. But everyone is making a big fuss over that. I was forced to give up all our Disney movies because "Mom bought them for my brother" and my grandma and sister tried to make me give them to my grandma. I'm just so sick and tired of them trying to take everything of hers for themselves. Am I wrong here? Should I put my foot down and tell them the movies are mine and it's going to stay that way?
