I seem to have a lot of trouble holding a conversation with something, and if I am in a conversation I usually say something that's totally inappropriate to the conversation. I always seem to calculate my interactions with people, and if it doesn't play out I just fake it. I'm always worried about what could go wrong in social occasions. My close friends don't seem to mind my awkwardness, but others seem to avoid me. And I think it's got so bad that even my close friends don't talk to me. So what should I do to be less awkward and have less social anxiety.

(if you don't mind) whats an example of a "totally inappropriate response" to a conversation in your opinion?
aha as cliche as this sounds; maybe try worrying less; holding a conversation shouldn't be a huge calculation in your head :) if should just flow aha I say awkward things to my friends all the time, i usually just laugh it off or make a joke about myself when i do
when you say " you think your close friends don't talk to you" how so? as in they avoid holding a conversation with you or go out of their way to avoid you?

My inappropriate responses are usually things that I find funny, but the other person doesn'. Or something that makes sense in my head, but I can't get it out right, to the point that it might be offensive or it starts a debate. And as for my friends, they seem to avoid me unless they have to talk to me.

hmm its tough to pinpoint what exactly is wrong >.> your a teenager aha we stuff up conversations all the time
as for your friends :S i don't want to judge them but good friends don't really do that :S (personal opinion aha don't look too far into it)
maybe its not as bad as you think it is? you said you were worrying; is it possible that you think its a huge deal when really no one really minds? cause i know that I've done that to myself a couple times (over thought something and put myself into a state of worry)
