This may have been asked before but I'm going to go ahead and ask it again anyway because I could find another thread asking this.
After a nasty accident on my motocycle I have ended up with some nasty scars on one of my legs and so far I've been using Bio oil to help them, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any way to help them go faster because Bio oil takes months or years to work.

Bio Oil gives little return over too much time, and for damages to the skin is better used for prevantative measures rather than treatment. There isn't really way of speeding up scars if they're healed by the skin and still show. As far the body is concerned, it's least priority once it's closed up, regardless of appearance. Just keep it protected and try not to damage that skin again and over time it should improve.

There are a lot of things you can do, but I would recommend either Mederma or Bio Oil.

Mederma is good.

I gave up attempting to heal my scars and to be honest, my scars sort of give a story. My legs are covered in them from having a metal frame screwed into my bones when I was younger :whoops:

Wow, why did you need a metal frame, was it a serious brake?

(Story, one of my friends broke his leg in 6 places in a car accident and needed reconstructiv surgery, he had a custom made steel frame on his leg for 3 months, serious stuff)

there's not much you can do other than not picking at your scabs (if they're still there) because doing that will make scarring worse. I don't know what the fuck "bio oil" even is but it sounds like quackery.

Basically I was born with my legs behind my head and was double jointed at my hips, because of this I couldn't walk properly so I had to have a frame to support me. But thankfully I have no problems and I can take part in any sports, however my hips do like to crack a lot.
