Next school year, I have the chance to do an after school course through my school. It is a three year course, which will give me an extra qualification, and this will help me in the future. However, there are very limited places- about 10. Not everyone in my year was offered the chance, but about 30 people have been invited to apply. In order to get a place, we have to write a letter of application. I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice for writing the letter, as writing is not my strong point and I really want this opportunity. I think I have a fairly good chance, but I want to make sure I have the best chance possible. What tips to you guys have for this kind of thing?
Thanks in advance.:)

The only advice I would give you is to make sure you point out WHY you want to be a part of the program, and maybe why you think being a part of it will help you in the future. Also, mention any sort of activities you're involved currently, and any accomplishments you've had, that might stand out for those choosing students. Definitely take advantage of the opportunity, and good luck!!
