Have a friend start up a conversation then drag you into it. If that fails or if you dislike that method, try to calm yourself down and then just say 'hello, how are you?' If it's a classmate, discuss classes and things like that. After a while things should start improving and u should become more calm

I will give you the way i see things,but first i will give you some background on me.
I have never been good with girls,but then i found this Bulgarian pickup forum and it changed my life.My confidence shot up as i started to approach girls on the street.Girls like ballz,just stop her and tell her she's pretty and that you want to talk to her.Never be needy,this will break your heart.Here comes the talking part,which comes after the opener.Its the hardest one for people with not much experiance,you just have to get used to talking to girls.If you live in a big city i'd suggest just getting to a crowded place and approaching girls there,it helps alot.
