"Uganda's constitutional court nullified a recently enacted antigay law that had been derided as draconian by human-rights activists and Western governments.

A panel of five judges ruled that the parliament had passed the bill without the necessary number of lawmakers present, rendering it null and void."

It's sad that we actually have to celebrate a law making death a possible punishment for homosexuality being struck down, and even more sad that it was struck down based on a legal technicality and not because it was fucking stupid, but oh well. It's still nice to hear.

Finally...I think they are working on it for long time because I was in Uganda(Kampala) last year so I heard some news about this topic from the local people..

Progress, but its till sad that we have to celebrate this, I though in 2014 we would have sorted simple things like this, its not like humanity has much bigger problems or anything...
