I used a screwdriver handle and a vibrating toothbrush handle, but whatever you use, wrap it in a condom or even a load of clingfilm (condom was smoother though), use a lot of lube (but not Vaseline or baby oil with a condom) and make sure it isn't sharp or had bits which could get lost up there!
