I can't tell my mother I think I'm depressed
She would just laugh
Maybe say something like "Arnt we all!"
My dad would just say I'm having a rough patch
I can't tell them I've felt this way for years.
They would say" you act they way you always have , if you were depressed we would know"

I know exactly how you feel. No matter how awful I feel, I'm always not 'depressed enough'. It's as if no matter how big my problems are, they're not big enough. You're absolutely not alone, and my PM box is always open if you need someone to talk to.
