Does she like me still or what?

I met a girl through this site, I will not say the name of the profile for privacy reasons. She lived states away from me and we are not in a relationship but we like talking, or liked I guess. So to the story, we started use kik to talk outside of this site and we would talk nearly every day for most of the day and would send pics back and forth and have fun talking and she was always saying she would love to me me and hang out. But after a few weeks she wouldn't txt me as much and every time I did, she would not txt back as enthusiastically as she used to and eventually just started sending one word txts. One day I told her that if she didn't want to talk, the she should tell me. She txted back saying that there was alot going on in her life, I said that was fine and said she could txt me anytime she wanted to talk and I would check up on her on occasion. It's been a month and nothing, so last week I txted her just asking how she was doing and I got no response, I tried again the next day and still nothing. The messages say they were read, but I get no response. We are FB friends as well and I always see her putting up new pics being all happy with her friends and posts saying life is great. Just message her again telling her that if she doesn't want to talk then speak now and nothing more will happen.

Over the years on this site I have had a number of friends. I connect better with girls then guys, so many of my friends have been girls. With many of them I have experienced the same thing. All I can put it down to is that people change and can do so quite quickly, especially if something new or different has started in their 'real life' such as a new bf/gf for example. A couple of the friends I speak of changed very quickly and I admit I was quite hurt by it. I guess the best way to deal with it is to leave the ball in her court to reply to you. if she does reply then great, if not, then try not to dwell on it too much and try and make new friends or talk more with different people. Most likely things have changed for her and its no reflection on you. So remember that if nothing else!
