Embarrassed people will think my mom is my girlfriend

Hello, when I am in public with my mom I am always scared that people from far away will think my mom is my girlfriend. I was wondering if this is just me or does everyone feel that way.

Same thing with my cousin. I go shopping with her and I get self conscious and think about it. Maybe height can play a factor.

This is quite the opposite: When my older sis picks me up from school, my friends think that I am with my mom.
