Trouble with friends parents

Recently my friend was dumped by his girlfriend. He felt bad and wanted to go to a strip bar even though he was under age. Well being a friend I offered him to use my phone. The next day I went over to his house to let him use my phone. he want to at first but diddnt later on. So then he asked me if I could send pics over(not mine just anime). I said fine but I diddnt do it until late afternoon/evening. So I sent some over. He wanted a few more so I sent. Couple minutes later he calls. But surprise it was his father. He was not happy. He wanted to talk to my parents. Well I told him I live with my mom. I also told him that she wasn't there/here. Recently he called saying that my mom needs to call him by 4 or else he'll call the cops. So I gave him my moms number.

So my question, is giving other minors illegal? And if it is why haven't adults specify?

Your being pretty vague as to what you mean, was your friend sending nude photos of himself to I'm assuming his ex, I'm lost.

Well i dont think is illegal to send to your friend some porn my boy friend do that always just his paretn got mad as normal parents gt mad when they found porn or somehting like that to their child

Well you didn't send actual nudes or anything, so I don't its as bad as the father maybe think but then again I'm not too sure because its still porn.

I don't think that it is that bad and I don't understand why he talks about getting the cops involved. Of course he might be upset cuz it's porn but I don't think that he can get you into real trouble except maybe your Mom being mad.

It's not like it's actual porn, it's just anime. Of course his father had a right to get involved but he didn't have to threaten to call the cops, he was way out of line by doing this. I honestly think he made a big deal out of nothing, plus even if it was real porn, he's a teenager for Christ's sake. Let him do what he wants to do, I'm sorry but when I hear parents do things like this it gets me pissed off...
