What does a growing pain feel like?

If growing pains even exist, how would you describe them?

I've been feeling a deep pain in my legs for at least 5 days. It has lasted for 5 or more days. I've gotten them before and it seemed I didn't really grow when I got them, but maybe I did 1/2 an inch? Anyway, I haven't noticed a height change since this started, so if it is a growing pain will that mean I'll be growing soon?

Actually I just found out I grew a bit recently and my whole leg hurts, so I think it may be a growing pain.

They're just like aches that don't go away. I get them on my knees, but they haven't happened recently because I'm probably as tall as I'm going to get (5'11)
