In my opinion, guys should be hairy, it shows masculinity, therefore being natural. But a lot of people on guys forums shave or trim their public hair. I don't understand why guys shave or trim that area.

Whether you're hairy or not, I don't believe being hairy determines how 'masculine' you are. All that matters is that you're confident with your body. You shouldn't tell someone how they should look or even question them about how they want to look. If someone wants to feel and look good, then so be it.

Does it really matter if they shave or not? Lol, you won't look any more masculine to anyone (unless their into that kind of stuff)

Some people just don't like to have all that hair

It's people's opinion on what actually makes them masculine. Honestly I think having body hair that is not even trimmed is disgusting. Which is a reason why I do shave so much. For the past years I work out 4 days a week and am really proud of my body. I can't even bare to have my pecs and chest area covered up with gross hair. I personally can't stand the look of guys in tank tops with hairy arms so I shave them too. It seriously looks sexier on me than hair all over the place. I shave my armpits because the hair takes away from my arms. Plus I honestly sweat less with out it. And for the penis. Well I may not shave bald all the time, but trimming is basically just to keep it neat and well cared for. Plus the hair takes away from my over average sized cock. Which let's face it, no matter how big, bigger would still be the best!

Fuck, it doesn't look sexy at all. It looks unnatural and disgusting. A slight bit of hair is reasonable, but taking it all away. Disgusting.

Not all mind you. I will never in my F-ing life do that. I just don't like to have hair on some parts of my body. People have their preferences. I just don't like to look primitive with a bunch of hair everywhere. Hair is ok, but too much is just unsanitary. And yes those skinny ass twink looking guys do look wierd all hairless and whatever! It's really for the toned or buff.

Hair does look masculine, too an extent. If some has light hair on their stomach and a bit more on their chest, they look great! Only if they are fit though. How masculine hair looks depends on the persons body shape rather than the amount of anything. A fat man with even a little hair does not look good. And usually people don't like uni brows, but they do like big masculine eyebrows. Pubic hair around the pubic region doesn't really look masculine, so it's fine if it's shaved, however armpit hair and hair on the lower stomach in a triangle from the pubic region is attractive.

Every 2 weeks (maybe less, maybe more) I shave my pubes because it feels better and I think hair is kind of gross actually.

Well some guys have different reasons. Some can be feminine natured ( I am cause I've lived with women all my life ), some maynot like it and do it anyway, It could be for something like swimming where you have to trim/shave, The list goes on. I personally don't like hair that's not on my head and near my eyes. I don't like armpit hair ( but I leave it ) I don't like pubic hair ( but I leave it too ) I don't like leg hair ( but I leave it there too ). If I could, Id get rid of the armpit and leg hair and trim my pubic hair. Hair doesn't really show masculinity ( in my opinion ) cause girls can grow it just as easy as guys. It's hard to explain but my point is, there is no telling why people trim and or shave said area. There are so many different reasons for so many different people.

I trim it because I personally think it looks better.

Pubes are a personal hygienic choice. I personally trim mine and it really wouldn't bother me if my boyfriend didn't trim/shave his pubes. I don't think it shows masculinity, I think it just shows that they like a certain way they look. I feel I look better the way I have it and it's my decision.
