So I'm a virgin, and while I don't really plan on loosing my virginity anytime soon, I'm just a bit curious about some things about the first time.

My friends say it's a lot better feeling than masturbation, but is overwhelming enough to make you last shorter? In other words, do you last shorter when having sex than you do when jerking off?
Also if that's the case, is there any ways you can "prepare" for sex? Not asking for specific techniques but overall ideas (like masturbate more/less, or do stop and go more, ect.)

I don't think there is sadly, it's just something you'll understand when you eventually decide to lose your virginity. it's more satisfying than masturbation, thats why people say they last shorter than others. other than that, don't worry about it :)

When its your first time it would probably mean its her first time or one of her firsts so she would be tight. So you would have to go slow therefore you would last a while

It really depends on the situation itself, chances are that during you're first time you're not going to be particularly relaxed - certainly not as much as you would be if you were masturbating at home. That itself seems to be enough to slow things down for a lot of people.

As Hunter said though, it isn't really something that can be predicted or explained it's just something that you'll need to experience for yourself when the time comes.

Like Ryan said, there's no real way to prepare for your first time regardless of the mental prep and reading up on it you do. The truth is that any amount of talking you get from others can't prepare you for the awesomeness that is having sex for the first time. So there's no need to be sorry about sounding like a noob.

And let me make mention about gay sex, or just anal sex with girls, in case you happen to be interested in it. Like it is with Ryan's explanation, the anal passage is tight and an extremely pleasantly warm place to be in. The only thing is that the anus is dry and needs a good amount of lube for smooth entrance. Without it, it makes for a potentially painful moment for the receiver and a hard insertion time for the one penetrating. A bit of foreplay with it would also be good to stretch the hole a bit. Since its really hard to bust another one out within maybe twenty minutes or so, jerking a little while before and then having sex would probably make you last a lot longer
