Selfish?

Would it be selfish of me if I said all I want right now is to be alone I mean I practically am everyone around me is so oblivious to see me dying inside. I'm already slowly isolating myself. I'm breaking and they don't see that so what does it matter if I want to choose to be alone they don't even see what's happening right in front of them.So is it selfish that I want to be alone?

No, I don't think it is. If your going through something hard in your life, it seems almost natural to want to be alone at times because sometimes the people around you just don't understand how it is. So being alone waiting, crying, and waiting it out seems easier than trying to explain to a person who hasn't felt what you are feeling. But being alone after a while can just get... lonely.
