Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you have used a terminal/dos based web browser. and I got to thinking that
perhaps there are advantages to using something like this. perhaps for privacy (make someone think your doing something techy, and boring)
or just because you can and can finally use that old dos PC you have lying around?

Anyway. Let me know what you guys think. :)

I like graphical interfaces.

I like graphic interfaces, but I'd probably play around with it just for the fun of it.

I use one quite frequently -- look up wget -- which is very good at what it does.
Less frequently used is lynx, which although fun to show off, serves little purpose in a newfangled HTML5 web.

I had an entry about it on my blog (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/blog.php?b=36724), but the picture has since vanished.

I'd mess around with it a little bit, but I would definitely rather have a graphical interface.

i never use command line web browsers since they are very limiting. the only use that i can think of is when you need to just read text without all the distractions.

Yes, I am aware of the wget command, I mostly use that for downloading files when I dont want to leave traces or more commonly, I use it in bash applications.
