I think the net should be completely neutral, no fast lanes, not syping, I think it should be an open place with no observation. The ways its been for years, call me stuborn but I HATE the changes that have been made it it recently.

I agree with CosmicNoodle, the internet should be what it was meant to be, a place to store and send information, for people to be part of an online community, and in general, make our lives easier. Now it is just a spying tool by the NSA and FBI (well I suppose with terrorism they should be allowed to keep us safe, just not SPY on us)

Agree with the guys above. I think that the government should nationalize the internet and provide it free of charge also.

these. Internet network must be nationalized and made free for everyone to access. Also, there must be free public computers for those who don't own one or cannot access Internet. Here you have public and free computers only in big libraries.

I disagree on net neutrality. I believe that the government should have access to all out internet usage (if it isn't illicit, then what's wrong?). I don't see how nationalizing the internet would help, I foresee bad service, too much bureaucracy and complications ahead (at least from a brazilain government point of view.)
Access to the internet should be as much of a right as to phone calls. You don't get free phonecalls to anyone, so why would the internet be justified as a common need?

I think this is a hard topic for me to say what my opinion is.
No I do not want to get charged to have fast internet or else be left is a slower lane.
However why can't we be spied on by the FBI or NSA? If your not doing something wrong then what do you have to hide? 95% of the population will not have a crime while that 5% could possibly get caught if they were stupid enough to post evidence on the internet.
But at the same time, haven't we all downloaded ROMS & Emulators? Hope the FBI don't come knocking to my door. :P
