I still don't get why Teens from the age of even 12 are addicted to this drug.

I think it smells disgusting, its easy to tell if you were smoking it. And it does a whole lot of other things. Can someone tell me why?

because its fairly inexpensive, easy to find, not physically addictive, and doesent have nearly the amount of negetive side effects that other illegal drugs have.

I have a friend whose mom smoked it while she was pregnant with her, so she was born with the addiction and lived with the addicton because her mom let her smoke it.

For some people, they just like the effect of the drug without the dangerous side effects, some use it to rebel and others simply use it for medical purposes.

Personally, it does nothing for me (as I've tried it before), and it smells like cat piss.

I agree with you, it smells bad, and it can have dangerous effects if you do it long enough. anything can be addictive. people get hooked to lots of stupid stuff. But the point is that it is not actually addictive, and your body will not go through withdrawls. If you quit an addictive drug like heroin cold turkey you can die.

I think that its just because people dont care. I swear when I become a parent I will educate my kids about it. I know there gonna be curious but...HHAHAH i should buy weed for my kids and show them how it feels. because most kids are just curious and they also want to do it because its "against the rules". little do they knoew thats its "against the law" and that they can actually go to jail...or send there parents to jail!!!!!:O

most people dont, its a really long story as to why it is against the law, which is mainly because of racism. Weed was made illegal in the 1930s because their were many illegal immigrants coming into the country from mexico, Since at that time they didnt really have the technology to stop alot of the people they made marijuana which was then thought of as a "mexican drug" as sort of a way to get back at these immigrants. And Unfortunatly for many people nowadays these laws have stuck. Sending many people to jail for minor weed related crimes and wasting tax payers money. I believe similar stratagies have been put in place to stop hallucinaginic drugs. Nothing racial but to cease the the "expansion of the mind." Many of these drugs are non toxic and cannot really hurt you unless your stupid with them. I believe the government does not want its citizens to realize that there is more to life then paying taxes to "the man." If you havent ever used a hallucinagin then your probably totally confused with what im saying and id be glad to discuss over pm. (i dont encourage drug use, just like to be informed)

I call bullshit on that. Marijuana is very, VERY mildly physically addictive, and extensive research studies have shown that pregnant women smoking it does not result in statistically significant increases in their children's use --> you can't get addicted via pregnancy. In fact, the only drugs currently known to cause addiction in infants from use during pregnancy (and subsequent withdrawal) are the opiates - especially heroin.

Though marijuana itself is a natural drug, though, when you go and buy some, unless you're getting an actual plant and processing it or whatever yourself, who knows what the people you're buying it from put in it? They don't care what happens to you, they only care about the cash, so they might mix the marijuana with something much less expensive to make a greater profit.
And no, not anything can be lace, packaged stuff can't be laced, unless the factory making the product does, and that would be expensive, so it doesn't work that way.

Yes anything CAN be laced. About the supply, that's true of anything. Just make sure it's a trusted source like a friend or something.

I didn't read all four pages of posting, but marijuana i would have to say is the safest drug, not saying any drug is really safe, but it has less long term (health) effects than tobacco (sp) i believe. but only if its like...pure? marijuana, unlaced of course.
