im just wondering if it is possible to love someone, truly love someone without being in a relationship because i love someone, but im stuck in the friend zone. I have tried 3 times to get out of it but nope still stuck here. I honestly love her and i know what love feels like but i will like other peoples opinions.
Thanks

Who has said that if you love someone, you necessarily need to be in relationship with him/her?

I didn't think there was such a thing as having a romantic relationship without first being in love... 0_o
Yes. Obviously it's possible to love someone outside of a relationship.
One of my best friends and I almost got into a relationship, but we both realized we were better as friends.
We've been friends like this for years, and I love her to death, like a close friend, or a sister, and without romantic interest.

I think it depends on your own definition of love as people have different views on it. However I think it is very possible to have really strong romantic feelings for someone without being in a relationship, happens to many of us I think.

It's entirely possible that you can be in love with someone without being with someone, it's like how you can still love someone even after you break up. However, if you know it's not going to lead anywhere because you are friends and/or the other person would prefer being friends, I do suggest moving on. That's mainly because loving someone who doesn't love you takes a huge emotional toll on you as a person.
