Hey guys, I wasn't exactly sure where to place this thread but I thought it made sense to put it here. I'm circumcised and heard that you could get your foreskin restored with methods manually or buy devices for it. I was wondering if anyone had restored at an early age or think its worth it. I'm 16 atm and definitely considering it but I'm not 100% sure on the process and if I should contact a doctor before trying, I heard it can be a long process and could take years. What do you guys think about it and has anyone or is anyone currently restoring that has any advice? And what are your views on being circumcised or not? Thanks!

Oh no, it does exist. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreskin_restoration)
It can take along because it works by stretching the skin to incentivise it to grow more. Also, you'll need to talk to a doctor first and, after puberty is finished. Doing anything while going through puberty could be damaged as puberty is having its own effect on your body. It can take a long time as well and with all procedures, does run a small risk. You'll have to consider whether or not the pros of having a foreskin are worth more than the time and effort in growing new skin and having it stretched over your glans.

From what I've heard:
Sex with a circumcised guy = 3/10
Sex with an intact guy = 10/10
Sex with a restored "uncircumcised" guy = 8/10 or 9/10
Of course, part of that is also the responsibility of the people involved in the sex, but a lot of that is also due to the restored sensitivity. There's some great websites that go into great detail about the glans being covered and what the foreskin does.

It can be done, but I don't understand why anybody would want to do it - I'm cut and happy about it.
I guess some guys get wrapped up in the anti-circumcision propaganda that tells them they
are damaged and would be much better off uncut - but I think that's all a hoax.
And as for sportsfan and ratings of sex with circumcised and uncircumcised guys - well you can
believe what you want, but I've seen quite a few reports from women who believe sex is much
better with a circumcised guy - so it all depends on who you ask and what their biases are.

Being circumcised is where the foreskin on your penis has been removed. Being uncut (uncircumcised) is where you have the foreskin still. Normally, if you're circumcised you have a dark ring like halfway up your shaft where your foreskin should be.

You did a survey Dec 8 2012 about circumsion and I refer to that survey with a count. 133 posts. 110 answered with a definite yes, no or didn't care.
Sex wit a circumcised guy = 61
Sex with an Intact guy = 18
Sex with a guy and doesn't matter = 31
So how did you come up with your 3/10 circumcised ???

sounds kinda dangerous...i would never try and do anything that modified my penis, it sounds like a recipe for disaster!! what if something goes wrong or you hurt yourself?
be careful!

The poll was an unscientific survey of users of this forum.
The numbers such as "1/10 or 10/10" whatever I posted above were a comparison off another website (which I honestly forget where I read it.) Those numbers were more like "1/10 means awful horrendous experience" and "10/10 means absolutely fantastic perfect." Of course, it also depends on who you ask and it also depends on the knowledge of the people involved.

Just my opinion here, but you already are circumcised. That essentially means that someone did "penile modification" on you, and I'm assuming it was without your consent or permission. As others have said, it may be best to consult a doctor. Just as you or I do, doctors have their own opinions on circumcision...which is a whole other thing...it may depend on who you ask, the answer you get.

It also depends on religion. Usually Jewish guys are circumcised because its part of their ritual/religion. Some people do it because they think its hygienic.
I have done a lot of research cause my foreskin is tight when erect and can't be retracted or pulled back unless flaccid and I pull it back. I found out that the foreskin contains nerves which helps in arousal and makes sex enjoyable for both the female and male. Thinking that I would have to get circumcised to have a family, I was wrong. Im glad I'm not circumcised, but will need to stretch my foreskin in order for it to be retractable when erect.

I'm cut and happy with that. I don't trust that kind of method. The only way I read is with surgery and even with that, it's not easy. I'd forget about it.
With regard the poll, it'll be interesting to know the difference between the answers "No" and "Not circumcised".

Thanks for noticing, you're the first. I'll probably restore one day, it just sounds a little painful atm.

would be really interested in seeing one that's had that restoration thing. like in a school locker room or whatever. having a foreskin i don't really see how that could look and work the same. prolly best to just enjoy being cut, because it is kinda cool in its own way. but i also gotta say having a foreskin to play with rocks.

Yea, I heard it could take months for the skin to actually grip like a real foreskin and etc.. Seems very time consuming and I don't know if you frenulum reconnects if you still have it.
