Am I Old Enough For Thongs?

Not sure why you're nervous about wearing them? They're more comfortable I think and definitely a requirement for certain types of pants, shorts, etc if you don't want to be showing off those panty lines lol!

Technically, if you're old enough to dress yourself, you're old enough to wear a thong. However, I would not suggest wearing ONLY a thong unless you are expecting a few dirty looks and some attention from admirers.

being honest - if you are worried about wearing a thong, then maybe you aren't old enough.. they're very comfortable and good for clothes that expose panty lines, but when you're more comfortable with the idea of wearing one and not worried about it then i think that's when you can consider yourself "ready".. that being said: if you want a thong, go get one. there is nothing to be worried about. make sure its not showing and dont wear it with skirts. easy!

I would try a pair to see how you feel in them. Some girls don't like them because they can cause a "wedgie" :whoops: but you'll soon get used to them. I've been wearing them since I was 14.

Why? You gave no reason. Assuming she's wearing pants or something over them, there's nothing wrong with wearing thongs, they're just underwear. Nobody's going to see them, while wearing normal panties people might because of the lines. OP, it's completely your choice. I agree with what's been said before, get a pair and try them out, see if they're comfortable and you like them.

I personally haven't started wearing them until recently 16/17. But if you try one and feel comfortable then there isn't really a problem... There are quite a lot of benefits (clothing wise) :)

Honestly, it should be up to what you feel comfortable with. Do you like the way they feel? Are you ok with wearing them? Wear them.

I say that you shouldn't wear thongs. I think that underwear like thongs and g-strings are really slutty and they look like something a stripper would wear. :/ I'd just stick with bikinis or hipsters.

It's not really the age, as long as you're in teens and above really, as much as to why you want to wear them. If you wear them because they're comfortable, and to prevent lines, and all then id say go for it. Yes, as me being a guy, we guts would love to see girls in them, but that's just us, and that's why most parents are against them, because they can be seen at a sexual way. Again the reason why, is more important than age. Make sure your mom and dad, well...just stick with mom probably... Make sure she knows your reason to wear them. If she says yes, then ok. If not, wait a few weeks and explain and ask again.

although I am a guy I think it should be your choice. now granted if you want super expensive underwear maybe you should buy it (I do buy my own) . but I know my parents have always asked me what fits best/I like best (though my underwear covers more than a thong haha).
