Mum is being over dramatic about situation with friends

So about a week ago me and a friend where drunk, and I was pretty bad out of both of us and basically passed out. I had 3 other people with me so in no means was I by myself. My other friend had left and went home, which was ok since I had people with me, but my mum is blaming it all on him and saying he's a bad friend for leaving and basically not allowing him over at my house. He has tried to apologise multiple times but she just refuses the apology. I think she is being over dramatic about it and basically she is ruining my social life because of it and it is really frustrating me.

Have you tried talking to her about it? Actually explaining the situation as you did to us? Because while parents can definitely be unreasonable there's every chance that she just doesn't, or isn't willing, to fully understand the situation yet.

Maybe shes worried about alcohol poisoning.....sometimes people pass out at parties and get left alone then end up having serious health problems because they drank way too much and nobody was there to help them when it could help most
But hopefully she accepts his apology and he learns not to do it again...you just have to give her time if shes worried about you...

I think it's natural. Because mother always worried about her son. She always want her son in straight line. And she think straight line is you not use drunk. So, you can talk with your mom and explain the situation.

I understand what all of you mean when you say that she would be worried but I still don't get why she is pinning this all on 1 friend when I had 3 others with me.
