For me, school = oversized sweaters and leggings. I try to dress nice and cute, then I just give up and dress like a hobo. :P

try aliexpress.com like honestly you can find great stuff so cheap online but it takes FOREVER to mail..
you could get A-Line skirts in cute prints or colors, sweaters, cute button downs and blouses, i think bendable head bands are really cute and making a comeback, nice big cardigans and skinnies! and maybe new shoes, some loafery-flats and some tennis shoes. and loose dresses are really cute!

I think you should buy a lot of basic items, like plain t-shirts & tanks (grey,black, white, cream), & basic shorts, leggings, & jeans. Then get a few statement pieces, like a bright cardigan, jean jacket, & lots of jewelry. I like to wear grey t-shirts w/ bright shorts (mint, maroon, blue), or a white t-shirt w/ a cardigan (maroon) & some jeans. I like dressing up basic clothes, I find that it's more affordable & you get more outfits out of that. Be sure to visit Forever 21, they're super cheap & you can get almost anything from there. PacSun also has great sale items, you just have to look for the sales! Good luck w/ school shopping!! :P
