What if you had sex with a guy you love (or you're uber crazy about). Would you fake a pregnancy?

Let clarify myself first that I'm not gonna use it, (and I'm not being defensive LOL). I'm just curious.

I was actually looking for gag items and stumbled upon the store "Fake a Baby". Browsing through the pregnancy gag items was fun, though I wonder, are there actually girls who use those items? Do they even succeed in the long run? Or perhaps a good revenge might be an option. Oh well...

I don't understand why people would want to do that. Is it so the guy's tempted to stay or something?

I think girls who fake pregnancy's are looking for trouble, that is something you shouldn't mess around with. If your trying to get back at your men then do something else besides that because if the dude believe's it then he's going to spend hundreds of dollars for nothing

That seems like a super mean thing to do, regardless of if it's just as a joke or used to get revenge. I agree with Jessie ^, seems like it'd only stir up trouble.

I agree with YOUNGandMEEK, That's not cool, That's sad and just not cool even if it where a joke or not. People shouldn't do that to get someones attention, if someone is that desperate, they need to get help or something ....

I guess, tempting the guy to stay or having a good revenge. (Good in the girl's POV, perhaps)

Thanks guys!

@Jessie- Yeah, I so know what ya mean, ;)

Yup, especially with the website's fake ultrasound, I don't think a guy seeing "his" baby wouldn't even have any compassion, so perhaps a girls might be using this tactic to ask for money, or something like that. Unbelievable. SMH

I have no clue why, though my ex recently did this with her current boyfriend..
She kept up with the lie for about a week before admitting it was all fake..

No clue what the point of it was, she simply made herself look some-what stupid and childish..

If I were a girl and my boyfrient refused to use a condom but still did it and i asked him to use one ya maybe I would scare him,

But what person would do it without a condom? A adult that wants a baby

Absolutely not faking a baby is just totally and utterly wrong, I would never do it and wouldn't be friends with anyone that did. It's just cruel and totally immoral.

Yeah, totally agree. Like what if everyone finds out that everything's phony?

@Rallo- Whoa! That's sad. That's my point, it may sound unbelievable but there are actually girls out there who do this. I've seen the testimonials on the website, the fake pregnancy belly at Fake a Baby is fun for pranking though- for my friends only. For my bf, don't think so.

Brit for pregnant and an acceptable slang.

Ok it may be funny if you came up to him a while later with a bulging tummy and then told him it was fake like no more than 30 seconds afterwards! But really faking pregnancies for long periods of time is a low stupid cowardly thing to do!

@chrisawesome That's the thing. For a gag, it's quite funny but if a girl gets serious about it then that's pretty scary. My friend told me there's actually a woman who got successful with this. I feel so sorry for the guy!

I honestly think that's quite stupid when girls try to do that. Especially when they are trying to get the guy back or even for a higher relationship. One day or another, he'll find out that they have no baby. Honestly, They will have a higher chance of getting him by not doing that and less trouble later too.

Stupid, if that's the only reason a guy wants to stay with a girl, because he knocked her up, then in the long run it's not going to work. Plus you would totally loose his trust

To the girl faking she got a fetus bun in the microwave: You thirsty.

In all seriousness, it cries desperation AND is morally, well, FUCKED UP. It is trapping someone on the pretense that they are fathering your child that exists as much as Miley Cyrus' inhibition does. In one scenario, you do the shabang, maybe hold hands a year or two together and call one another Honey Boo Boo while rubbing noses then you split because you grow apart. That is always a possibility. On the other hand you fake being pregnant, have to gain baby weight for a baby that was never there in the first place. So now you are bloated and hefty. Your ankles swell from all the extra weight AND... hello, stretch marks. You'd get them from your skin stretching to accommodate this infant fabrication. Yo man working at the local dollar store to support his new fam of...two...still two. You don't see him much, and when you do you arent intimate because you are uncomfortable about your body. So he starts sleeping with the entire street PLUS the cable guy that has dreads and a lazy eye. Naturally you accuse him of cheating then he does the "pot calling the kettle black" bullshit. Even though we all know you were too busy stuffing your face because this baby lie drove you a little loco to the extent that you believe it's truly inside your hotpocket. You two end up on Maury. You with a bucket of KFC extra crispy and him with LaShawty from down the street. Maury reads the results: "You are NOT the father!" Idiota starts getting in your face because he aint "yo baby daddy". Maury continues. "You are not the father. Actually... No one is. She showed you an ultrasound of a squirrel, douchepants". So, i dunno. I guess in different perspectives i could see the good in lying about being pregnant? *shrugs*

@chrisawesome - OMG, you just made me chuckle by that!
Well, if Justin used the fake pregnancy test then that reading the news would be much worth it! LMAO!

@TheVoiceWithin - Yeah, though some women were able to pull it off.

I would never fake a pregnancy because if the guy needs a baby to stay in the relationship it's not worth having because you deserve someone who loves and adores you

Anyone who would do that is absolutely out of their mind. It's not fair or funny.

@gottaloveaginger14 - Couldn't agree more.

@AVildSvan - True enough. I don't think I have the courage to use a fake pregnancy test from Fake a Baby (http://www.fakeababy.com/) to get revenge on my ex though I laughed big time on this from 9Gag Girl's Wrong Number Prank (http://9gag.com/gag/aQp6Kge)

:D :D

I guess if you suspect the guy maybe one to panic and run away upon finding you are pregnant this could be one way to find out prior to actually getting pregnant but it seems to be the risk of negative consequences is very high.

What would happen if he cancelled his college course to stay with you and bring up the non-existant baby? Presumably he would also tell his parents they are about to become grandparents. When the truth came out how would you get on with his parents. Bear in mind if he turns out to be the one they will be your parents-in-law. Even if none of this happens I would imaging he is more likely to be angry at being tricked than see the funny side of it and, if you are prepared to play tricks with something this important migh he conclude there is nothing he can trust you on?

I've had a pregnancy scare before (we were using protection) and it was one of the most stressful times of my life. I wish nobody would intentionally cause that kind of stress to another person.

metallic_pink
August 31st, 2014, 06:41 PM
@Hermes - Like I've said, if it's super temporary, like a 5-minute fake pregnancy test prank or something, just like what others typically do for fun, then I think it's ok. But claiming that so called prank as something true is absolutely a different story.

@Perfectly_Flawed- Sorry to hear that. That'd be super stressful!
