I am very curious about why people get banned so often, I'm curious to know what are some of the reason why people get banned. To the mods, if this is something you wouldn't like to share or answer, you are more than welcome to lock this thread, tell me that this isnt something that should be on vt etc etc but I'm just curious so I can take precautions in the future, maybe this can also teach new users or current users to be careful also. But what would you guys say would be something getting banned about, what would be some examples or reasons, thanks

Now I'll give the same answer as I've given before. Here's the rules (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/faq.php), read them, break what's in there, and depending on the rule and severity and all that, you'll get banned or will have further consequences etc etc. People don't get banned in here just for anything, and it isn't super complicated why people get banned.

If you'd just looked on the first page of this section of the forum, you would've seen this (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=210665) thread asking the same question.

There's a lot of various reasons members are banned, but they are for sure legit. Just don't over-think this. Follow the rules, and you will be fine. It's not like the staff will ban you for a double post, or creating a thread in the incorrect forum ( or anything minor like that ). A slip up here or there might happen from time-to-time, but it's fine, people make mistakes. As long as you don't break the obvious "no-no" rules ( asking to trade pics/cam, posting porn, etc. ) I think you're in the clear, as long as you abide by the rules to the best of your ability.

It's common sense really.. like everyones said stick to the rules and you don't get banned. Bans are taken very seriously and aren't a sudden or irrational decision, there's always strong evidence supporting the ban which is why they are banned. If only people would actually read the rules and use some common sense though..
