Am I going through a phase?

Ever since I was young I have always been attracted to females. I never had thoughts about other guys until I found out one of my best friends was gay after he moved away and he told me how he had sex with other guys. This is when I became curious about messing around with other guys. I notice good looking males and have curious thoughts but the thought of a relationship with one turns me off. Another thing is that watch gay porn more than straight. One of the main reasons is because the acting in straight porn is terrible. I'm a straight and really religious but I'm not homophobic, I believe in equal rights and have no problem with gays. I only want to mess around with a guy one time to end the curiosity. Does this make me bi?

This could be a phase, and it could not. You stated that you were/are CURIOUS. That's completely different than being bisexual. When you're curious, that doesn't mean you're bi. All it means is that you are trying to figure out what you're attracted to. I think almost everyone goes through a phase like this. I know I have, but for me it was just a phase.

Yeah, it kinda does sound like a phase, honestly. Your body's hormones can make you feel very weird at times, and things that used to turn you off, suddenly arouse you.
Like I said, puberty is just a weird time in life, so just try not to worry. Just about everyone will go through a phase during puberty that will at times make them question their sexuality. It's absolutely normal.

It may or not be a phase, I went through the same thing and I eventually came out to be gay and im happy I went through it.

Another thing is that I'm a little self-conscious about my physical appearance so I only get the feelings of wanting to experiment with guys that I wished i looked like and admire their looks. It's only a physical attraction but there is no emotional attraction at all. If the guy is good looking, but I'm not jealous or anything, I wouldn't have any thoughts at all.

It sounds like a phase to me but hey you never know right ? I thought I was str8 but it turns out im Bi ( leaning towards gay ) .... I found out I was bi this way and im glad I did :)

For some it is a phase, others it's there life. I think you will be fine. But I say try it so you will know if you do like it.

You and I have the exact same problem! I'm religious but have no problem with gays, have always been attracted to Gilson but want to experiment. I think it's just a phase, nothing to worry about though. :)

It's possible that ur bi. U might also be curious. Since u said u just want to do it once to end the curiosity I think ur probably just curious.

As a straight dude I feel you, i've been pretty curious though but have never had the chance to really experiment though I probably would. Its never been any emotional attraction for me, just physical so i'm not sure what that means for me either.

Nope. It makes you curious. You never really know if you're bisexual or not unless you really experiment with a guy or find out some other way that you really do take attraction to them (or not)!

Everyone's bisexual to some extant, you're probably just more bisexual than most "straight" people.
