Your testes need to be at a lower temp than your body temperature, but then again can't be too cold either. So it regulates it's overall temperature by moving away from the body to cool down, and getting closer when it's too cold to try and warm back up to its proper temp.

I am going to be highly original: that's basically it. So nothing to worry about :)

The reason for this is because sperm needs to stay at a specific temperature to stay healthy. There are several bodily functions to keep this, one is why your testicles are hanging outside your body in the scrotum and not inside your body and another is the scrotum will adjust according to temperature keeping the sperm healthy. :) Hope this helps!

It's all been said it's a temperature thing. Warm and they hang a bit loose. Cold and they're closer to your body

Your testicles always need to stay at body temperature so when it is colder, they "move in" closer to you to stay warmer.

Umm, no this happens to everyone. Your testicals have a natural defense against extreme temperatures which can kill sperm cells. When you get hot they drop down to get away from the body's heat and to cool off. When you get cold the scrotum (sac that holds testes) contracts and holds them closer to the body to stay warm. But yes you are perfectly healthy. But, a piece of advise, just stay out of hot tubs... ;)

This happens to most boys. Because sperm needs to be in a certain temperature to survive, your balls will either get closer to your body to preserve heat or get farther away to release heat.
