I've put off asking this for a while because I think I already know the answer but I want to hear some other opinions.
Without going into too much detail, I left school a while ago and fell into the habit of spending 10+ hours a day playing games and not a lot else. Now I have school work to do from home, and I'm really struggling to get any of it done, as I've done nothing for 8-10 months now.
So what do you guys think I should do to get off my ass and get some work done?

Get of yo ass bitch!
On a more serious note, school work whilst a bitch. Is important, if you want a half decent future your gonna have to do it my friend.

Unfortunately that was the exact answer I was expecting. I get that all I have to do is turn off my PC and start working, but sometimes it's just not that easy, ya know?
The work isn't even that hard, it's actually getting around to doing it that's the hardest part.
Thanks for your answer.

You could get your parent(s) involved in the process- come up with them for a time that you're going to do it and have them lock your computer during that duration.
I also found that incentives (either psychological or physical) really helped me get the work done on time.

Sometimes when I have to do stuff, my dad turns off the wifi. Works pretty well, since I have nothing to do without it.
Like... when I have schoolwork. Normally I would play outside or read or something

I have the routine of getting 1 hour after school to play video games, then walk the dog, then do all the homework I have and if there's any time left before I go to bed then I can play games or do what I want. Maybe space it out like that?
